There is no road access here. We rely on close collaboration with the train and the forces of nature. But that's exactly what makes the stay up here so unique and special.
There is no city noise, groomed ski slopes of other ski resorts, pubs, or mountain-urban life - it's all far away.
We are located between national parks, breathtaking landscapes, trails, and solitary ski tracks. With only 45 rooms, beautiful halls and communal areas, phenomenal views, an enthusiastic kitchen, and a staff that looks forward to your visit.
We are situated on the platform of the highest elevated station on the Bergen Line. Just a few steps and you're here.
And then we can present our fully renovated hotel. We have taken a step back into our colorful history - to the time when the high-mountain experience of Finse was world-famous. Back then, it was unique to be able to reach such heights in untouched nature.
That hasn't changed. While the pressure on the high mountains increases, little Finse has hardly changed in over 100 years. It is just as unique now as it was then.
Finse is situated high enough to offer plenty of snow regardless of climate change! The snow arrives early in the fall, and at the end of the season, we can invite you to summer skiing in May and June.
Then comes the fantastic summer. With that, unique experiences in the high mountains open up. In just two days, you can bike one of the finest routes in Northern Europe, the Rallarvegen, and also hike on a spectacular glacier. And, of course, enjoy the tranquil summer at such high altitudes.
Our little hotel is perfect whether you are active and want to challenge yourself or simply want to relax. You can come alone, meet others, or come with family and friends.
We can organize special events, secluded meetings, parties, weddings, or conferences. We cater to groups from 1 to 100, and we gladly tailor something truly special for you.

Privacy statement Hotel Finse 1222 wants you as a user to be confident that we safeguard your privacy and process all personal data in accordance with the legislation. Use of Personal information To use the online booking service, you must provide your name, address, telephone number and email. In order to register an order, information about the time of rental and the type of equipment reserved/ordered must also be stored. There is an age limit of 18 for using the service and you must therefore also state your year of birth. When using the service, your order history is saved. This personal data is used to deliver the service to you. This personal data is stored as long as you are registered as a user with us. The personal data we have registered is available and can be changed on your side. You can also contact us and request that we remove your personal data or be deregistered from our systems. You will then no longer be able to use the service unless you register again. Personal data to third parties Hotel Finse 1222 will not sell, exchange or forward your personal data. The online booking is handled in a system provided by Sharefox from Tooler AS. Payment information When you pay online, your card information is stored with the payment provider DIBS to handle your order. DIBS stores the information in a safe and secure manner and is PCI certified. This enables us to handle changes to orders, cancellation of reservations such as deposits, crediting, additional costs incurred by the user (due to late submission, damage or the like), as well as reducing misuse and waste. Transaction information is stored related to your order, but not the card information. Transaction information will be stored as long as you are registered as a user of the service, cf. section on personal information. Use of collected information The personal information collected for these purposes includes both information you provide yourself (name, email address, etc.) and information collected through use of the service, such as which equipment you rent and information about location and technical information about your device and internet connection . The personal information may be supplemented with available information from third-party actors. Information on use of&nbsp; cookies When you visit our service, we use various technologies to recognize you as a user and collect data. For example, we use cookies to remember rental dates and equipment. Cookies facilitate the use of the service and to provide you with relevant information when you visit our website. They are also used to temporarily store data such as available rental dates, prices and the like.
 Through server logs and other tools, we can record information about the device and the connection to our service, including operating system, browser version, IP address, cookies and unique identification files. This information is used in anonymous and aggregated statistics, but can also be linked to your user account. Among other things, the information allows us to adapt the display of our service to the device you are using.

Hotel Finse 1222 Bike rental &ndash; our booking conditions:
Booking of bicycle rental:
When booking a bike, you will be charged a deposit of NOK 250 per bicycle immediately.
In case of cancellation:
If you cancel your bike rental more than 28 days before arrival, you will be charged a deposit of NOK 250 per bicycle. In case of cancellation later than 28 days before arrival, the full amount of the bike rental will be charged. (Regardless of number of bikes booked.)&nbsp;
In case of change:
It is possible to change the date of bike hire up to 28 days before arrival, as long as the change is valid for the same year. If you wish to change less than 28 days before arrival, this will be considered a new booking and the full amount of the original booking will be charged.&nbsp;
Insurance:
We always recommend our guests to have a full travel insurance policy, preferably one that includes cancellation insurance in case of illness or other similar circumstances.
The tenant is responsible for all damages and defects in returned bicycle/equipment.
The bike rental outlet disclaims liability for accidents and damages in connection with cycling.
The tenant must, in cooperation with the leaser, ensure that everything is working properly.
Rental amounts are not refundable due to bad weather.
 The tenant is obliged to return the bike:
1. By 17:00 the same day for bike hire + return of bicycle at a serviced station at either Finse, Myrdal or Fl&aring;m&nbsp;
2.&nbsp;By 19:00 on the same day at Finse for day rent (unless otherwise agreed).
If the deadline is missed without prior agreement, the tenant can be charged 50% of the agreed rental price. More information about where the bikes are delivered can be found at rental locations.

If you have chosen home delivery, you will have the equipment delivered before your rental period begins and picked up after your rental period has ended.
